Yes, rather. And that despite the fact that it has been so well tudored, or whatever the word is. Here, in my country, is the Tudor in Chief:
But seriously, Volk, the snowflake generation has been tutored and is being tutored, and not just by the likes of our Clown Prince. Even the new King, who as defensor fidei might frown on that jester’s new crown, has been in on the action for decades.
I’ll recommend something to watch, in lieu of an article from me, on the subject of this tutoring and its consequences. While I don’t agree with the speaker on some pretty fundamental matters, including religious matters—if everybody is wrong about God, so is James Lindsay—I think he’s on the right track here. The generation in question has been under sustained assault from its predecessors, especially in the academy, which ought to have put a stop to this long ago.
The academy couldn’t, of course, and won’t, just because it has now no place for faith in God. Consequently, the generation being trained there “cannot touch again for strength,” as Whittaker Chambers put it, “the ageless thing—the undeluding, undenying earth.” Today’s snowflake, I’m afraid, has nowhere to land.
Agreed on James Lindsay. A brilliant young man, and as far as I can tell, 100% right in emphasizing modern Gnosticism, the ur heresy.
He diagnoses correctly but does not offer solution. I propose we look to the Medici school of Plato for the beginnings of colonialism. It was these banksters who wrote/whispered the "dum diversas" which kicked off the slavery/eugenics/totalitarian pipeline. A sincere apology from Peter might go a long way.
