What modern gnosticism looks like: https://sdgthoughtleaderscircle.org/deep-and-rapid-transformation/. As Bruce Davidson advises at Brownstone (https://brownstone.org/articles/the-collectivist-evolutionary-religion-of-the-un/) watch the video. When you've done that, turn to James Alexander's "A Biblical Analysis of AI: https://dailysceptic.org/2025/02/16/a-biblical-analysis-of-ai/. O yes, and review "Doctrines of Demons" on Desiring a Better Country.

And happy birthday, Rod!

I have only skimmed this so far, but can tell it will be a fruitful read as Big Brother so wants to erase that AD and "reset" this very year, 2025, to the Year 1. And could very well succeed, just as President Warp Speed (the (only apparent) enemy of my enemy) is getting rid of the Lincoln penny. We must resist.

On first read through, I am struck by the word "recapitulation", which was popularized by Ernst Haeckel at turn of 19-20 century to describe the way he thought the physiological development of organisms mirrored the evolutionary development of their species. "Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny". This theory played into a vicious eugenic darwinism that saw the human being on a par with the apes. This came to public view when the eugenicists put a human into the Bronx Zoo (google "Ota Benga"), but snowballed into the Nazi concentration/gassings (and so on!)

What the ontogenists failed to take into account was that, if their theory was true, then evolutionary development would *not* progress, but rather *regress* once it arrived at "middle age". So, perhaps Anno Domini is the "middle age" (or, as TS Eliot would put it, the "stillpoint").
